The BioMax helped educate and entertain 5th grade students from Missoula about biomass and forest ecosystems. The approximately 200 students attending were full of curious and thought-provoking questions.

January 25 to 27, 2009 Harvesting Clean Energy Conference

Montana State University College of Technology, Billings, MT.

Over 400 renewable energy professionsls attended this annual regional conference and many braved the frigid temperatures to take a look at the BioMax demonstration. A presentation of the project was given to a bioenergy focus group later in the conference proceedings.

December 18, 2008 Demonstration for architectural firm of MacArthur, Means and Wells

Forest Service MTDC, Missoula, MT.

A local firm specializing in advanced sustainable building designs requested a demonstration to see if the technology could be incorporated into their projects.

December 8, 2008 Wood to Energy Workshop

Helena Airport, Helena, MT.

The BioMax provide a practical example of technology suitable for processing beetle-killed trees into useful energy. Approximately 80 forestery professionals attended the workshop and demonstration.

An educational outreach demonstration for the students and citizens of Philipsburg. The Philipsburg school campus is one that already produces its heating needs from biomass through the Fuel for Schools program.
